An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.” He continued, “The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too.” The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?” The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.” ~~~~ This is the rock I painted, it came out of the pot that I completely destroyed when my cat knocked a plant down sending the actual plant everywhere and the dirt I still feel even though I vacuumed, lol. Anyways, I was in a totally bad mood so I made this as a “good luck” charm my mom can carry around and stuffs. I wanted to give it to her because she’s been in a really bad place lately and just talked about this story and the rock had a natural line in it and made me think of the story and yeah. That’s how this happened. The picture doesn’t give it justice, and my lines aren’t smooth because I have crappy dexterity with small brushes lol.
